The hilarious scam fighter - KitBoga

Meeting the talented KitBoga at the Global Anti-Scam Summit reinforced everything we believe at Dodgy or Not?. His masterful scam-baiting performances – where elderly characters slowly drain scammers' patience – don't just entertain millions, they educate without a hint of fearmongering.

We share this approach: giving people an opportunity to play it before they live it – to lean into the game of digital life with humour before the stakes become real.

Whilst conventional safety training relies on fear, we've seen how that paralyses rather than prepares.

Take "Dumb Ways to Die" – possibly the most successful safety campaign of all time. The catchy Melbourne Metro PSA garnered over 200 million views, won numerous awards, and most importantly, contributed to a 21% reduction in rail-related accidents. All because it made safety memorable through humour rather than horror.

When our workshop participants laugh at relatable scam scenarios, they're building critical thinking muscles they'll use when real threats appear.

The digital dangers are real – deepfakes, romance scams, social engineering – but stern policies aren't the answer. It's playful experiences where people can safely get it wrong first that develop instincts that stick.

Because when you're laughing, you're learning – and we remember what makes us smile far longer than what makes us afraid.
