Dodgy or Not? on ABC News!
We were thrilled (and a bit old-school excited) to see Dodgy or Not? featured on ABC News recently—highlighting how our game is being used in classrooms to help students recognise scams, spot deepfakes, and protect themselves and their families online.
The report also included insight from Mona Sidhu (NSW Department of Education), who confirmed what we’re seeing nationwide: young people are already being targeted with sextortion scams and deepfake threats. Early, age-appropriate education is essential.
We’ve built Dodgy or Not? to be engaging, repeatable, and practical.
Because cyber safety doesn’t need to be scary—it needs to be second nature.
“Whether it’s on socials, emails, text, or virtual reality... we want to see that students are critically thinking and asking one question: Is it dodgy or not?”
It’s one thing to say we’re making cyber safety second nature—it’s another to watch it happen in real time.
